The seven NOAA frequencies ensure coverage in the US and Canada. In addition to weather alerts, you will also receive Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEAs) such as Amber Alerts, hazardous material, floods, extreme heat and many more. Notifications are made by the 90db siren, voice alert or LED display. Alerts can be displayed in English, Spanish or French. The USB charging port can be used to power hand held devices. The monitor can be powered with the AC cord (included) or four AA batteries (not included).
